The old saying, “there’s something rotten in Denmark” is quite appropriate here. They prosecuted the ex-VA governor and are going to prosecute the sitting senator Menendez for crimes of far less importance that what has been alleged towards Hillary & the Clinton Foundation.
The FBI should be required to imitate an investigation into all of these allegations and get to the bottom of this stinking rancid cesspool of corruption with the Clintons, but then again that’s just my opinion for what it’s worth.

Not directly, but they have checked me when I got the green card.

The FBI is soft and Congress complains about the CIA. If people had any clue as to what goes down outside of our borders they would know just how good we have it.
That said, the FBI, like the rest of the justice system doesn't fight fair. Its like a person with no experience in fighting getting involuntarily tossed into a ring alone against a clan of samari warriors. They know all the rules and all the moves and you know nothing. And God forbid you hire even 1 samari from another clan to fight with you, now you will still lose, but also be in debt for life.
So, I really have no desire to get tangled up with any of them.
