Fox News has just reported that the BATFE has dropped FOR NOW moving forward on the M855 ammunition ban!

The BATFE came under a lot of pressure from gun owners (thank you, VCDL members!) and from Congress (again, thank all of you for contacting your legislators).

Does this mean that BATFE and others, like Michael Bloomberg, are through finding ways to limit our right to keep and bear arms?

NO!

We just won a battle, but the war against gun ownership rages on. And we must ALL remain eternally vigilant for the battles yet to come.

The ATF is shelving a controversial proposal to ban a popular type of bullet, amid opposition from hundreds of congressional lawmakers.

The ATF said in a statement on Tuesday they would not seek to issue final guidelines "at this time."
