The 2015 Snowmageddon Thread

Post by OakRidgeStars »

O.M.G.

The governor has already hit the panic button for the Mother Of All Storms in Virginia. So in other words, ya'll can relax. We won't see more than just a light dusting.

Yeah. GF is freaking out about the snow; worried we'll get snowed in.

Like this even compares to what we see up in the North West.

Call me when its over 18" and the roads are 100% unplowed. That's when everyone stops moving... You know... Till it is plowed.

It just takes a 1500w space heater to keep us snug in the tiny house. It feels good not having to go out in this garbage.

3"-4" inches of snow, topped by an unknown amount of ice here in Hampton Roads. The doors on all my vehicles are iced shut like a glacier. Good day to do the hallway commute thing.

11 degrees right now. Around a foot of dense snow. Slick enough it's hard to walk in on level ground. Even Walmarts are closing.

Very nice Michael , Are you living in it full time ? Would love to see a few more pic's and some spec's when you get the time. A couple months ago I helped a friend put the roof and siding on his 300 sf house. He now lives in it at a Campground South of Petersburg until Spring then he is going to place it on his property near Emporia. I have almost completed our Cabin about 1,200 sf . ( about as 'Tiny " as we can get) in Dinwiddie. Just a few more things to do and hope to be finished before Spring so we can get back to playing ! Anyway , your house looks great !

About 6" here in Lakeridge. Just finished shoveling the pipe stem we live on and helping the other neighbors with their driveways.

AH CRAP! Now they're saying 3-5 inches of snow tomorrow with light snow tonight and snow tomorrow night <1 inch. With whom do I lodge a formal complaint?
