ATF Ruling: SIG Arm Brace Is A Shoulder Stock

Well, yesterday, the ATF made it a felony to shoulder fire a pistol with a SIG Arm Brace attached to it. They say that regardless of the lack of change in physical characteristics, shoulder firing the weapon with the brace constitutes "redesigning" the brace as a shoulder stock.

And this is why more laws just unnecessarily complicate the situation. How can I have a firearm that if I shoot one way it's legal but if I shoot it another way it's illegal?

Exactly. If I take my revolver, reach my shooting hand across my chest and brace the pistol grip on top of my left should, does that mean my pistol grip is now a shoulder stock and I'm a felon for having an unregistered SBR? Of course not, but in the lamd of make believe where all these ATF rules and gun laws make the would a better place, I'm a criminal.
