Hello everyone!
Born and raised in the city (Alexandria), I discovered my love of shooting sports through my best friend and his Dad when I was about 12 years old. We used to go camping and shooting along the Rappahannock River near Fredericksburg as young boys. Bought my first long gun (.22 mag) on my eighteenth birthday and my first handgun (Ruger Mark II) on my 21st - never looked back since. A NRA Junior Life Member in my teens and now a Patron member in my 40s. Joined the VSSA when it was the VSRRA and the VCDL when it was the NVCDL.
Was using the NRA range in Fairfax but just recently purchased an annual membership at the new Elite Range near Manassas. Great to have a place on the internet for us "gun nuts".

Thanks Snakester, the older firearms in that list are pass-downs from my grandpa. I've yet to shoot the "lemon squeezer", I need to get it checked for timing and lockup and make sure it's safe to shoot before I "squeeze off" a few.
