I don't belong, but I've been there a few times. Great area, IMHO. Not sure if they are accepting new members though - that's based on a conversation I had a while back with one of the members, though.

I've been a member for 20 some odd years. I'm not sure that there's any slots available right now. Cavalier is one fine range.

It's certainly worth getting on their waiting list. Might be a few years, but Cavalier is an outstanding club.

We have up to 500 yards for rifle shooting, several pistol ranges, several open bays for informal shooting and a world class sporting clays range. If you would like to join our club please understand there is a waiting list of about two to four years to join. CAVRPC only offers personal memberships. A member can bring family and guests however the member must be present with the guest at all times. All applications must be endorsed by a current CAVRPC member. After you request and receive the application please fill it out completely and send in to the address on the application. Applications are listed by the date in which the application was received. Your application will be considered and you will be notified by email, phone or postal service to attend a membership-safety meeting. At this meeting you will be instructed on safety, club rules and club amenities. I'm getting ready to start shooting some of the USPSA matches up there. (Greater Richmond Blasters run the match?) My old USPSA club was "uninvited" to shoot at Blackwater a couple years ago. Don't really know why. Cavalier is the next nearest place to shoot USPSA.

I hear GRB is having a "big" match in Oct?
