Think about this for a minute

Think about this for a minute

What if; Let’s use Chicago as an example

1. The Mayor and all of the representatives were Fiscal Conservative (Not saying Republicans) and not corrupt.
2. These elected officials put in place Fiscal sound initiatives that would incentivize job growth and prosperity throughout Chicago
3. Chicago embraced concealed carry for all citizens with minimal (Virginia Like) requirements to do so

The question is
1. Would you see a dramatic change in crime and conviction across the board (White, Black, Latino, and Asian?
2. Would Chicago become a prosperous self-sustaining city?
3. Would the gangs no longer terrorize law-abiding citizens?

If it works in Chicago why not tr it in D.C. next and any other bastion of decay in this great country.
Again I am talking about sound Fiscal Conservative methods and Ideals not parties Would this make a defference?

Yes. It would be reduced dramatically.
2. Would Chicago become a prosperous self-sustaining city?
Yes. They would become the industrial Mecca they once were.
3. Would the gangs no longer terrorize law-abiding citizens?
No... but it would be dramatically reduced.
If it works in Chicago why not tr it in D.C. next and any other bastion of decay in this great country.

Here is the problem... strong, independent, educated, stable economic societies can not be controlled by a ruling class, because the ruling class is not needed. The ruling class, for the sake of self preservation, would never allow it to happen.

The people who have their hand out, won't let it either. Lazy, entitled uninformed voters don't want to work and be prosperous. They are happy living under meager mean and no responsibility. Unfortunately, they roll out by the masses to vote to make sure the free stuff keeps flowing from the haves to the have-nots.

I think that though Conservative principles would work... today, now, there is no desire by the ruling class to implement Conservative principles. Even the Conservative politicians don't want it implemented. Instead, it is better for the ruling class to use HOPE that "someday there will be a change" as another tool to control the populace.
