Check CHP status

Hello, all.

I've just sent my renewal for my non-resident CHP. Does Virginia have anyway to check the status of an application or renewal? Here in Oklahoma, they have both an email and a phone number for just that purpose.

I've searched around the the VSP website, but have so far come up empty.

There is no way to do this as far as I know.

I'm not aware of any either. I think calling the Clerk's office is the only way to check.

Yes, calling the clerks office of the county it was submitted in. I know that for resident permits they don't want to receive any calls until it is past the 45 day processing time limit.
