Changing the color theme?
Changing the color theme?
I know on this version of VB there's an option to have preset colored themes, is this function turned on? The Forest Green, Pee green yellow color combo gives my old eyes a headache.

I'll look into offering other color templates soon. Right now, it's locked in with this color combination. (and this isn't VB, it's PHPBB)

Thanks General. I knew it was phpbb, I'm not sure why I typed VB. Maybe my mind is going where my old eyes are.

Re: Changing the color theme?
I added a prosilver (basically phpBB default) theme. I also added a quick theme change selector at the top right of the site where you can switch between the blue and green themes. I might try to work up a couple of other color combinations as well. The green theme will be the default.

I'm used to the green theme but then I've been here a long time.

Another screen shot with the blue site... It might need a tweak or two. Trying to make this maintainable at the same time offering different color variations. Maintainability is the reason that I've shied away from this for so long...

The green grows on you like moss... I'm not going to change it - just doesn't look right. It's like listening to the telephone with the wrong ear.

btw, Nice Tux. What Distro are you running? I'm using Manjaro xfce at the moment and I'm trying to work my way into Arch full time on my work box.allingeneral wrote:Another screen shot with the blue site... It might need a tweak or two. Re: Changing the color theme?
For my .02 worth the site would not be the same with out the Green screen So I think I will keep it as is but thanks for the choice

Green seems to be more restful to the eyes to me. That blue sample above sorta sucked my eyeballs halfway out of my noggin.
