U.S. Border Patrol agents reduced to taxi drivers

Post by OakRidgeStars »

Only a matter of time before they build a shelter for the alien invaders to wait in.

All aboard the Freedom Express. Next stop, the closest voter registration office.

Too bad the button doesn't just summon a drone strike!

As much as I hate illegal immigration and what a tragic impact it has on the US, its not very humane to let someone sit out in the desert injured or sick to die. Something to keep in mind is, some of these human mules are threatened with death if they don't smuggle for the cartels. Still others have members of their families threatened or even kidnapped as a way to force someone to mule for the cartels too. Some, if not most, simply may not have a choice.

That said... at least take them back to Mexico. They don't need to be here after they are rescued.

I'd like to see what percentage are actually FORCED to cross the border. I suspect that number if miniscule in comparison to the total number.

I simply cannot and will not, sympathize with those that willingly put themselves or their families at risk by breaking multiple laws of THIS country.

do we have to yell "do over" as we send them across the border? Keep letting them try again and again till the succeed?

Or does there need to be a penalty on this side of the border that makes it less attractive to try again. Locking them up is not free, but if the only penalty for being caught is we put you back on the other side of the border that really is not a deterrent.

I have spent time in Mexico, Honduras and Belize. After seeing how "most" people in Central America live, I can near guarantee that if you put them in jail here, they will be living better than in there home. Not much of a penalty for anyone but the American people. I would actually prefer them being set loose in the US rather than in our jails. At least most of them will work and only be a minor PITA rather than a waste of tax money for the next 3 o 10 years.

How about giving them a plane ride? A C130 flies over Mexico and drops off the illegals. The plane does not land so it is not on Mexican soil and there are no parachutes except for the flight crew. It would work in my book.
