Mine has become my everyday carry. I absolutely love it. One thing to note is that the white dots on my sights popped off after my 2nd trip to the range. From what I've read, it is pretty common. I swapped mine out for night sights and put in an Apex Duty/Carry trigger kit.

Nice! I shot a relative Shield the other day and it was fantastic!

RO73 did you notice a difference with the APEX trigger?

Absolutely! It was worth the price. Lighter and smoother trigger, and a very short reset.

Put about 300 rounds through it the other day, overall I think its a great gun and was extremely accurate. My only complaint (and maybe this is just a glock thing, havent owned anything else yet) was that the trigger on this gun resets no matter what even if the slide locks back on an empty mag, so I found myself shooting the 8 rounds and pulling the trigger a 9th time since it still resets, out of being used to the trigger locking back and not resetting when the magazine is empty and the slide doesnt come forward on a glock. Just something different to get used to I guess.

My wife and I both have one, and it's my preferred deal conceal carry. Comfortable as heck in a Crossbreed Supertuck. Well... other than the weight a happy marriage has resulted in. :)

Shoots great.

I carry this everyday in a Crossbreed MiniTuck. Sometimes, I forget I even have it on. I recently decided to try a Raven Concealment OWB... it's really nice, but it doesn't beat my Crossbreed. Hard to compare the 2 though. I think I am just very used to carrying concealed and it is what I prefer.

RO73 - very weird... I've not heard that before about the sights. Mine have stayed on and I've taken it to the range plenty of times by now.

S&W M&P Shield

The front dot on mine popped off after the 10th magazine. Put a drop of Hi-vis green in it. They do carry well indeed.
I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.

Have had a Shield (9mm) for several years now. I love it, and carry it 90% of the time I’m CCing.

Overall, it’s an incredible firearm with great feel and comfortability. However, IMO the trigger has always left something to be desired, although nothing detrimental. I’m going to be dropping in an Apex or Monarch trigger kit soon.

Currently I have XS Big Dot Tritium sights installed; great sights for ultra-quick target acquisition.

Does anyone else get a little rust around the front sight? It rubs off easy, but still I don't think it should be happening.
