Any Pandora listeners?

Post by DryBones »

I was doing yard work today and started listening to Pandora on my Iphone while working. in less than 2 hours I heard 4 or 5 MAIG ads. Finally got so mad I had to come inside and write some emails and blast them on Facebook. Deleted my app and deactivated my account! Anybody else?

Nah. I used to listen to Pandora, but I got tired of the commercials. Never heard any MAIG commercials, though.

I use iHeart Radio, most frequently. Occasionally, I use Slacker radio, but I find that program to load the songs slower. I have Jango, PCRadio, and Rdio on my phone, but I haven't used them with enough frequency to speak to the quality of the programs.

I tend to stream about 10 hours of music a day; I listen when I drive.

Have Pandora or NPR streaming while working (a benefit of working from home-I can also have a beer on my desk), never heard a MAIG ad on either.

The weird thing is Pandora still thinks I live in NY so all the ads are for stuff in NYC/Long Island which amuses me.

I listen to Pandora enough that I just pay them $3.99/month for ad-free listening.

Wife and I use Pandora some, but not frequently. Never heard any MAIG ads. I stream it through my Bose wave radio.
