A survey? Voluntary? Not according to one lady. Sounds like a violation of the 4th amendment to me.

Someone needs to hand in their resignation over this. Absolutely not voluntary ( those red lights and that badge and uniform make it not). Absolutely illegal. They detained citizens without probable cause and with out consent then performed illegal searches on them. If I did that I would be in the slammer.

I would asked for my lawyer, they would of let me go then and there. But I wouldn't of gone I would brought my lawyer onto the scene and have him question their legality!

Texas has been invaded by progressives for as many years as the rest. There is no haven despite the statements of some.

It sounds like they werent doing anything nefarious, but they overreached their authority. And, I wouldnt be surprised if there was nefarious intent intermingled.
I hope some people file suit.

Read that article three times before I commented...
and I ain't got much to say, but "SUUUUUEEEEE"
As Kinetic stated, I would flat out say "Is this voluntary? It is? Well I choose not to partake. Thank you, good day."
And if pulled, and put through the ringer? I would request THAT Uni's supervisors, and be calling my attorney as he stands there.
