Sig P245

Post by TScottW99 »

Went to go visit an old friend the other day and ended up leaving with a new pistol. A German made Sig Sauer P245 followed me home along with three regular magazines and one P220 magazine with an X grip. A CompTac IWB holster and a 5 shot leather shoulder harness also came along for the ride. I couldn't have been happier.

Went to the range with it yesterday and loved the way it shot. Went through a mixture of .45acp without a hiccup except the slide is not locking back on an empty magazine when shooting. It will lock on an empty magazine at home but on all four magazines it would not lock back when shooting. Have to get that fixed but other then that she's a dream. It also came with Trijicon night sights that shot very well in the low light drills.

Nice! Classic!

It's my first. I have been wanting one for a very long time and glad this is my first. It shoots great and carries great as well.

Next up, the p227.

My EDC is a p239 but I LOVE the p226/228/229 frame. To be able to carry that frame with a double stack .45 mag is perfect.

If I had the money I would love to have the P226 Navy and the 1911 Scorpion. Maybe the P220 single action with beaver tail it saw awhile back. :D
