TKA Advanced Carbine Course

has anyone done this course or one like it? thinking about signing up, probably not for the one on the 25th-26th, but maybe they will keep offering it. I've done a couple pistol and concealed carry training courses but this one is a bit more expensive, just wondering if anyone's got any experience or feedback.

Frangible ammo. Not sure what they classify as frangible rifle ammo (I know what it is to me and the only frangible ammo I have is some antique 30.06 surplus stuff), however, if you buy it from them at $18 for 20 rounds it comes out to about around $350 for rifle ammo. Plus the cost of the course and the NRA range card, etc., etc., etc.

Could be a good class but the ammo thing throws me off.

Frangible ammo is ammo made generally from a thin metal jacket with powered metal compressed in them you can shoot steel at point blank range and there no danger of ricochet. Theyre normally not expensive but ammo being what it is everything is expensive. At one time Towne police at frangible 9mm ammo for like $10 a box, I thought that deal was pretty smoking and bought a far amount shot it and it is nice to shoot stuff close without worry.

PS: never heard of them, can't say if their any good or bad. But only 350 rounds for a rifle class? Like only 11 full mags, I guess it it's all in how you break it up.
