Starbucks Saturday
Starbucks Saturday
Miss Watts, of MdA, appears to be trying again to show Starbucks how much they WON'T go there if they don't ban guns. Well Miss Watts, please riddle me this, if you are already boycotting Starbucks, what is the point of "Skip Starbucks Saturday"? You already aren't going there.
I for one will stop in my local Starbucks Saturday Morning, 8-24 and buy my Caramel Frappacino and sit and relax while I drink it. I am not asking for meet ups, or organized events, just stop in and show Starbucks we appreciate the non-stance on gun issues.

Re: Starbucks Saturday
I feel really bad for starbucks because this keeps coming up and they don't want to to deal with it. I keep supporting them, sometimes carrying openly sometimes not and I think that's all gun owners should do to.docapos wrote:Miss Watts, of MdA, appears to be trying again to show Starbucks how much they WON'T go there if they don't ban guns. I may have to take the #1 girlfriend and enjoy a beverage and my 2a rights Saturday!
Re: Starbucks Saturday
Makes me want the "Thank You!" version of the "No guns, no money" cards. I'm sure the managers would much rather have a subdued show of a appreciation than they would have their stores become verbal battlegrounds.
Thinking about a "Thanks for supporting civil rights." or "Guns Save Lives" sticker for the front of my SBUX Gold Card...

Re: Starbucks Saturday
Normally, I don't go to Starbucks. I think their coffee is too expensive, but I plan to be at my local Starbucks on Saturday in support of my 2A rights. Is there any way we can start collecting signatures on this forum in support of the current Starbucks policy?

Once again, so many, SI has to number them. Isn't #2, #3,...#n jealous of #1?

Re: Starbucks Saturday
Try the Starbucks Kitamu blend if you can get it...
It's an East African Coffee with light acidity, and a earthy blend.
(sigh) Did I just lose my redneck card?

No, and it's Cat turds (sorta)...
I went Saturday, O/C'd, no one even blinked... then I went again that evening, got a Isla Flores (REALLY EXCELLENT FLORAL OVER TONES, LOW ACID, DARK ROAST!)
Again... no one blinked. Sometimes I think looking like a "LEO" makes it too easy.

HEY! In their clover machine? With the Isla Flores, and some Half-half, and cinnamon, you don't even need sweetners.
As to the Cat-turd coffee? Pass.
Now we talking Jamaican Blue Mountain, that's the "High Test" Good stuff right there... Right after fresh Cuban "Cubanitas" black bag from Havanna.
God Bless the Catholic Mission, and their ability to bring 6lb's of coffee back into the U.S.
