Kudos for finally admitting to grievous errors. Perhaps there is hope that they'll report similarly upon gun ownership. On Monday, The Huffington Post published a story entitled "Doubling McDonald's Salaries Would Cause Your Big Mac To Cost Just 68¢ More." HuffPost has since learned that the research used as the basis of the story contains significant errors that cast doubts on its claims........

Kudos for grasping the concept of math at the hamburger level. Perhaps the HuffPo journalists are now prepared to step in to the place of those striking fast food workers and by doing so, step up in the world.

Even if HuffPo's numbers were right, based upon a $3.95 price for a Big Mac in New York (Yahoo search), That would be a 17.2% increase in price. I would be very concerned about the impact upon volume of sales of raising the price of just about anything that much at one time.
