I went yesterday. Didn't look at ammo, but noticed that AR15 prices had come back down a bit. Weird thing was some uppers were higher priced than complete rifles.
LOTS AND LOTS of people bought lowers during the panic to get the 'gun' now they need to finish it, so uppers are still in demand, while lowers have come down quite a bit.
I was going to go as I am looking for an upper to complete my AR pistol. When i started this build I did not think finding a short upper would be so difficult. No hurry though so I just keep looking and waiting.
I bought ammo from GA Arms on Friday. Good prices there. Around the corner were people selling boxes of 9mm for 3-5x the cost. OTOH, lots of good deals on guns. I exercised supreme discipline and did not pick up the Ruger Single Ten....
Roger on the GA Arms ammo...always a fair price there. Other vendors had some .22LR going for $25.00 per 100 rounds, and there was some nondescript .22LR (500 round bricks) going for $80.00. I bought 9mm, 45ACP, and 38 Special from GA Arms...passed on the overpriced .22 LR from the other sellers. Prices for almost everything were all over the place...saw one vendor selling Henry AR-7 Survivor .22's for $395.00.......hmmmm? My wife bought one at this same gun show (but held in Fredericksburg a couple months back) for $249.00

There are only three types of mistakes: Those you suffer from; those you learn from; and those you don't survive.
