Talk Like a Pirate Day

I dont know if any of you have ever heard of this but several years ago an AF Colonel I worked with was a big fan - so every 19 September he would talk like a pirate all day and to everybody. Aye me maties. And yes, this was indeed in our nation's Pentagon. This guy actually had a PhD in Stress Mechanics with an emphasis in metallurgy. It makes you wonder.

I heard of it about 5 years ago. I don't wait until September 19 to talk like a pirate though. I talk like a pirate on most weekends, usually saying "Why's the rum gone?" (Captain Jack Sparrow)
