Colorado Gun Rights Advocate Plan to Break New Magazine Law on Capitol Steps
From Guns Save Lives

At least two formal events have popped up on Facebook that are encouraging Colorado gun owners to engage in civil disobedience and break the recent law that prohibits the sale or transfer of gun magazines capable of holding more than 15 rounds.

The events encourage participants from Colorado and other surrounding states to buy, sell and swap magazines that can hold more than 15 rounds in disobedience of the law.

This is awesome. This is what we need to be doing... showing up to protest, going hone with our tails between our legs and complying with bs laws hasn't gotten us anywhere.

It's awesome if you can afford to bail yourself out of jail and hire a good lawyer.

Will be interesting to see two things:

1) How many people show up with over-capacity magazines
2) How the police react

Dogs and fire hoses?

That's what democrats did the last time "free" citizens tried to exercise their rights publicly.

Not sure how I feel about this.

Part of me wants to agree with Disciple.

Then, I also am loathe to have gun owners portrayed as outlaws.

+1....While this is not as extreme as the idea of a thousand armed citizens marching into DC, I have to agree with SHMIV.
Let us speak courteously, deal fairly, and keep ourselves armed and ready.
