So, the random thought is this:Although momentum on gun control stalled in the Senate last month, Biden has insisted the issue is very much alive, and has been meeting regularly with gun violence victims and law enforcement to build support for a second go at legislation to expand background checks
If it takes so much work to "build support" for gun control legislation - doesn't that seem to imply that no one wants it? Why not pass legislation that's easy to pass because it's what the American people want instead of forcing legislation that we don't want down our throats?
