I don't want to pay outrageous prices. Not going to do gun show prices either. Just looking to get my girls into shooting and need 22LR to load up my Ruger 10/22. I live in NoVa but willing to drive and meet you.

OMG. It's sad that 7.26x54r is by far cheaper then the "instock" 22lr listed above. Wish I could reload the stuff.

This would be a fine time to start a new ammo manufacturing company right here in Virginia. Perhaps we could crowdsource the equity funding from VGOF members. We have land, labor, and transportation, and generally a good business environment.

With all the new shooters having bought their first .22 rifles and pistols in the past four years, I believe there is a permanent increase in fundamental demand that would justify a long-term expansion of the industry.

Unless you plan on manufacturing the powder, brass and bullets from from raw materials, you'll just have an ammo manufacturing company that can't manufacture ammo.

I haven't been able to find any affordable .22LR that wasn't in lots of 47 jillion rounds. If you find something that requires purchase of a few thousand rounds for a good price, I'd be willing to split with you. I live near Dulles, FWIW.

Thought those emails were PM notifications. Deleted them and haven't had time for the forums in a couple days. I've got 150+ rounds but fear the girls will eat them like pop corn once they find how fun it is to make a 2 litter pop bottle dance on a string. Think I've got a couple other Dad friends of mine talked into bringing their daughters. If there is still open offers I'd be willing to drive to you and pay a little more then you paid. I'd rather not pay over the top prices though. I don't need much, 300-500 should last a good while.
