New hunting regulations

I just read the new staff recommendations for changes to the hunting regulations posted on http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/regulation ... ations.pdf (written up today in the Roanoke Times) and see that the exception for valid concealed handgun permit holders to carry firearms during the archery and muzzle loader seasons has been deleted. See page 23, lines 26-29 and page 28, lines 81-82 of the staff recommendations.
I would suggest that we plan on entering recommendations to dgif to restore that additional wording when dgif opens the final staff recommendations for public comments.
