Can you get a threaded barrel for a 10/22 carbine?

Green Mountain makes some great, affordable 10/22 replacement barrels. You can get their barrels threaded from the factory or send your barrel back to them and have them thread it for $65. There is a local company in Ashburn that carrys their products called Rimfire Sports that has some of the best prices that I have seen and they have free shipping.
I just put a new barrel and stock on a 10/22 that I have had for about 20

Check out rimfirecentral.com if there is something you need to know about the 10/22 or any rimfirecentral, it will be there.

I highly recommend the Green Mountain barrels. I have a fluted .920" barrel on my 10/22. Not threaded, but the same performance as those that are. It's a tack driver compared to the tapered pencil-thin barrel the 10/22 ships with!

Thats the same one that I got. I'm saving my pennies so that I can have it threaded and add a compensator.jasonallen127 wrote:I highly recommend the Green Mountain barrels. Kidd barrels come highly recommended on rimfirecentral. I cannot personally recommend but have been researching them a lot and thinking of doing a custom build with all Kidd parts.

Answer to the question is yes! Tactical Solutions in ID makes great 10/22 barrels. I haven't bought one myself but have several associates who have and they speak highly of them.

Will keep all that in mind. Not in a terrible rush though. Just had my 1975 production 10/22 Carbine at a range. Took out the bull with 10 rounds at 200 ft. leaning over the back of an ATV. Not bad for an old rifle.
