Mosin 91/30 crate sale - wanna form a Central VA group?

Post by infoDon »

Classic Firearms is selling Mosin-Nagant 91/30s by the crate right now (20 per crate for $2,400). Any interest in getting a Central Virginia buyer's group together, work through someone having a C&R license, buy a crate together, and draw lots for pickin' rights? The crates are fresh from storage, and usually have some hex receivers and Tulas in the mix.

I don't have a C&R license myself, or I'd be setting up a group!

[I also posted this on the Newbies forum, as I found and joined this group today.]

Tread carefully if you purchase these on an individuals C&R license. As the license clearly states on the bottom-left corner...

"This license does not authorize the holder to engage in the business of dealing in any firearms"

Just a word to the wise, as my dear old daddy used to say.

(he would also say that it might not be a good idea to post details on the internets)

Yeah, $120 looks better than what I've been seeing. It's not a must have item for me, but at that price why not?

If the C&R doesn't charge for the transfer, it would not be a business?
