What's up VA? I went to highschool out here in NOVA, this is where my family is so it's kind of homebase..after moving around a few years I settled down in Seattle for @15 years, with the occasional year or 2 here and back. Non Drinker, I gave up the sauce years ago and haven't looked back. My wife walked on me about a year and a half ago, left me with more debt than I could handle and took my daughter. I'm back here with the fam now, got a lawyer in Seattle to "handle my affairs". Worst money I ever spent. He's the biggest liability I have at the moment...and he's MY lawyer. I was starting to get into target shooting and love handguns. I was up to @ 6 handguns..got my first 1911, RIA Commander but only owned it 2 days before turning it around. Had to sell everything and am down to a 1 handgun budget. Currently have a steel compact Baby Eagle II 9mm. Love it. My second, but there's so many handguns I want I may let it go to get a better carry piece. Love that gun but not the most practical for being my only pistol. I also have a nice model 13 .357 revolver but that doesn't count. Inherited from my Grandpa that one is never leaving my "collection". Never been into revolvers. Until I shot that. Probably shot my best groups ever from that .357. First shot ever was a dead center bullseye. I was getting decent and considering IDPA until shtf. Now I'm pretty rusty but target shooting remains one of my favorite things to do. Post separation American Boxing has become another hobby. Not competetive, just something I like. Anyways, really liking this forum. Reminds me of the SGN, my favorite forum in Seattle. Now in Leesburg, I'm an artist and a whatever job I can fill my days with guy. Cooking right now and pretty over it. No health plan at any cost? Super. Anyways glad to be back and out of the city! Hope to start growing my collection soon. Got my CCW, my third, so I'm pretty well covered. What's up VA!? Thanks for having me. Nice forum.
