Just a quick question. I went last month and it was crazy packed and prices were jacked up quite a bit.
Is it safe to say it will be worse this weekend? (Feb. 8-9-19)
I just was looking to get some ammo and an IWB for my G27 and just look arround.
Thoughts?

I'm sure its gonna be as crazy as the last one. Your best bet is to get there at 5 am and wait for it to open. I'm planning on doing that because I'm looking to pick up a Ruger mk2 pistol. Figure I will let everyone fight over the overpriced ARs and ammo while I get a 22.

Unless there is an item other than mags or ammo that you know you will probably find, I don't think it's worth the time, aggravation or gas and entrance fee.

Yeah, I used to go because it was pretty much a one stop shop. After a few visits though it seems like it's just the same stuff over and over and over. There's some cool stuff, once and awhile you find someone with a ginormous collection of old bolt actions, for me that's cool. I usually show up looking for something in particular. So I can make a lap and be out the door if I don't see it in about 30 minutes. But otherwise it gets pretty repetitive pretty quick glock glock glock sig sig kimber glock sig fn fn sig dodge guy with ammo cart glock glock sig sig dodge guy pointing muzzle at you, and repeat. If anyone sees any outrageous prices which there will be do post them, as provide great entertainment.

Ok, Tonight the show tonight wow tolerable. There was ammo there, and the prices aren't all TOO elevated. I would imagine tomorrow is going to be a bit more crazy.
May the force be with you.

Far and away the most crowded show I've ever attended (though my first was only back in July). EBR & ammo prices were very high and the cheapest AR I saw was $1800. Colt 6920s seemed to start around $2200.
I also saw Lake City 5.56 ammo cans (420 rounds on stripper clips if memory serves) marked in excess of $500.
Magazines were also pricey with 30 round AR mags starting at $30 and going up from there.
Beyond that the prices for everything else were relatively unchanged.
I ended up buying a Type 30 bayonet for my Arisaka at a good price but that was it.
BTW - while at the show I checked my email to see a notification from AIM Surplus about new 30 round Magpul AR magazines in stock, limited 5 per customer. I got home around 4h after that email was sent and they were already sold out.

Meh. Go to the LGS. SSG Tactical had bulk ammos in today and weren't too steep. Their guns were priced fair - at least the handguns were - I didn't look at the "combat-style" items.
I moved on to Big Dog and they had a full selection in as well and had gotten in some good ammo stock, but those were too steep for me in price.
