The Coolest New Carbine From Sig

Post by Jakeiscrazy »

Neat carbine an all but what really makes it cool is it is only a tube away from being a suppressor! Simply purchase the tube and cap then pay the tax stamp and boom say hello to your suppressed weapon. Now the ATF might have something to say about it being "to easy to modify" but so far so good.

That's awesome looking. I love how the suppressor goes on.

I love it! those folks at Sig not only built a gun I'd like to have, but have also just showed everybody in the world that doesn't already know exactly what the guts of a suppressor look like.

Interesting looking gun, looks like it's the Sig's take of the MP5.

I was looking at those the other day on Sig's site. It seems weird to me but the 'C' (civilian) version mentions that "NFA rules apply. I thought that with a 16" barrel it was legal and since the flash suppressor/muzzle brake is permanently attached at a total length of 16" that would not be subject to title II laws.

So if you bought the civi model w/ tax stamp, would you have to do another to make it an SBR?

Either way, I'd like to have one.

We need to start an effort to deregulate suppressors. They are growing in popularity and some states allow them for hunting. Question, would you trade NICS checks at gun shows for deregulated suppressors? Go......

I think I would. As long as the NCIS system could be streamlined for it

Very good topic. I'm going to break this into its own thread.
