I wonder, why so many Glocks on the list? Are really better than the other?
All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party - Mao Tse Tung

Concerning the Glock 34, that's easy - this pistol was specifically designed as a competition pistol to maximixe the physical size limitations imposed by IDPA'S rules. The longer barrel and sight radius are advantages. Additionally, Glock is the original striker fired pistol and like the 1911, it's a great design and highly reliable. Glock clearly dominates IDPA competition in 9mm. However, if you look at .45 caliber striker fired guns, notice that the Smith and Wesson M&P has surpassed the Glock 21 in popularity.

So far as CCW guns go, I think Glock's light weight, solid reliability and being the first striker fired gun give it the popularity edge among this competition shooter population.
