Of course not. Laws for me but not thee. Look I find their ban reprehensible. If they are going to exempt him from prosecution they should do the same for every unsuspecting hunter and every vet that has left a cartridge in his bag.

Odd normal they jump at throwing people in jail for victimless crimes. I wonder if it had something to do with the fact he was using it to support their ban?

The anti gun crowd wants more laws, restrictions and bans but they don't even enforce the laws on the books.
You look at some of the comments on the left websites and they are glad he wasn't charged.

So, the way I interpret the letter is that the Attorney General for the District of Columbia believes that simple possession of an unloaded magazine does not endanger public safety. Why then is the law on the books?

I agree with Mama Bear that DC should not prosecute any violation of this ridicules law, but I doubt that will be the case.
