Another day in liberal bizarro world. I'm glad my family moved long ago, but feel bad for my family still in the Saratoga area.

Good news for the musket and muzzleloader crowd. Kind of sucks for everyone else.
Speaking of gun shows, be sure to check out the VGOF Event Calendar for upcoming shows in Virginia (where they sell all modern firearms).

Yay for VA! Modern guns AND no background checks required!
Wait a second... I had to go through background checks on every one of my firearms purchases at gun shows. How come reality doesn't live up to the liberal hype that I hear on TV?

Would make a good cartoon...
What liberals think happens at a gun show:
Ya, I keep brining wads of cash to gun shows looking for my dream tank and a few RPGs. Perhaps if they take credit and the price gouging isn't too bad, I might grab a briefcase nuke next time around.

I bought my semi-automatic assault rocket-launching bazooka thingy at the last Dale City show.
The only thing they asked me was if I wanted fries with that

UH-OH! YOU'VE DONE IT NOW!
The FDIRWGNM (Federal Directorate of Internet Right-Wing Gun-Nut Monitoring) will be tapping on your front door with a breaching device any day now to talk to you about that RLBT You just admited to having.
What's even worse, the MFG (Michelle's Food Gestapo) will want to know all about the fries, too.

Both the gun and fries were equally greasy

Big deal. They won’t display or sell “assault weapons” or high-capacity mags. They’re sold out anyway, if they’re like the entire rest of the country. Do they ask the Chevy dealer to take all the cars off his lot if a kid gets run over by a Chevy? Ridiculous to the point of lunacy.
Be interesting to see if it is as well attended as previous shows.

The only thing I can consistently find at gun shows is overpriced "BUD-K" chinese junk knives, and paracord.
I think I've been CHEATED!

I've only been to a 2 or 3 gun shows within 60 miles of home (Abingdon, VA and Kingsport, TN). Except that I did go to the NRA convention way back when they had it in Charlotte, NC. I didn't see much at any of the gun shows that I would have wanted. As Rev, says, a lot of cheap junk and overpriced showpieces. I didn't see anything at all that I thought was even a little bit of a bargain. Right now I can buy both firearms and ammo at pretty good prices and well below anything I've seen at a gunshow. I have almost NO desire to ever go to another gun show unless something changes.
But we still can't let the GRABBERS take them away - just on principle. It would be the first step in prohibiting private transfers.
