remington 11-48 questions

i was at the gun show a few weeks agao and got a remington 1148 in good shap shoots good but the stock has a crack in it and i was wondering about where to go to get a replacement i would like to go with an aftermarket but they dont make them i have seen where some are saying that stocks off 870 and 1100 will work with some modification so i decided to try on here to see if yall knew where to get an origanal or aftermarket stock for this i realy like shooting it but afraid of having it break
