Let me explain just a bit. This is my father. While he has been around guns for longer than I've been alive. Thing is though that he never REALLY got into it till I did just recently.

So now I've gotten him in it deep. He just shot his first IDPA match last week and is scheduled for another match it two weeks. He just acquired a black powder rifle and we are looking forward to getting that dirty soon.

So I told him that this was the place to come for a wealth of information. I'm sure he will be posting more soon.

So anyways, welcome to you jackmar. Make yourself at home and for pete's sake, ask qestions. These folks know the answers.

Thanks for the warm welcom to the VAOF. I hope to meet most of you at one time or another. I never thought much about ownership of guns as I have always owned one since I was 12 years old, right here in Virginia. But now the question of ownership is getting antzy and I really am not going to give mine up, not with out a whole lot of mouth and resistance.
