Movie. Right. The date was entirely coincidental, and that the protestors were chanting "We're all Osama, Obama!" after the POTUS had been pimping that he killed the man for 2 weeks were also not factors.

I don't think the film started the riots.They were planned well in advance. It may have been used as fuel to piss off the illiterate and produce big mobs of people as cover for their attacks.

There is no way this is about a stupid bad you tube movie. This is about us not being Islamic mostly. Additional it is about us having some modicum of liberty. They hate us because like the Germans after WW1 believed their leaders that it was the Jews that had made their lives hard, their leaders have told them that America is to blame for their state of affairs, and because it is easier to scream death to America than it is to build their own country that is what they are going to do. They are rioting because we have a weak president that left his gonads on the dressing table for his wife to borrow to harass parents on ice cream and PB&J. So they do not love us and they do not fear us. They think they can gain by attacking us, the film has precious little to do with it.

No, it's not about a movie. It was a poorly planned and implemented attack on the anniversary of 9/11.

Simply being Muslim is no protection from attacks by Muslims. They've been butchering each other since the initial Shia/Sunni split.

Granted Europe had the Wars of Religion in which Catholics and Protetsants did the same thing, but that fizzled out after something like 120 years with a flare-up in Northern Ireland.

Theyve been at each others throats since the 7th century. Thats a long ass time to hold a grudge.

Oh, and they both hate the Sufis, probably because they're harmless.

Poor things, even when I took Islam in college the professor was sympathetic to them because they tend to get it in the neck from both sides.
