Hello everyone,
I just moved back here after living in MD for 12 years. I posted an introduction about a year ago but I am now finally moved in.
I am looking for a reputable gunsmith to do some refinishing work on my 1911. I contacted Hatfields Gunsmithing today and based on my phone conversation, they seem to know what they are doing. Having said that, what is VGOF's opinion on Hatfields? Any other recommendations in the NOVA area?
Thank you all in advance for your help, and I look forward to meeting some of you at the range.

You might get better lucking posting this in the Reviews section for Gunshops. I personally endorse Hatfields and would take my 1911 there.

Yeah, there's a thread in the gunshop/range reviews forum. Everyone seems to like them. I've never had them do any work, but going in there to get some personal defense ammo and a couple of other retail items I've seen that they're plenty friendly and helpful.
