More desperate braying from the democrats............
....... as per below:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Dormin — An update from my morning strategy meeting: we're 99 days until the election, but if we don't raise another $300,000 in the next 24 hours, the threat of a Romney administration and GOP Senate takeover will become very real. Could you help with $5 right now? The FEC closes our books tomorrow at midnight and I really need your help. -Sen. Patty Murray
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I hope they are telling the truth and not just trying to bilk more money out of those poor desperate middle class folks they're trying to use to finish socializing this country. But who knows? You damn sure can't believe a word any of them tell you.

I know whereof you speak.
Behind the Colorado murders, I got one of those fundraising calls, and expecting another run at an AWB, I gave them $100. They insisted on sending me a damned knife. I told them (1) I've got knives piled up butt-deep to a 10-foot Indian (and him standing on a hickory stump) already, (2) I'd rather you didn't send $10-$15 dollars of the $100 I gave you to China so you could give me a cheap knife I don't need, don't want, and will never use, (3) If I wouldn't give you money unless you gave me a knife, I wouldn't give you money even if you did. They told me the knife was part of the deal. Last time I told them that about an "NRA range bag" (one almost big enough to put a .22 derringer in, ByGolly - nobody ever explained what damn good a range bag smaller than a small lady's purse might be), they told me they wouldn't send it, and then sent it anyway. I've got no fewer than THREE of those useless thangs.
I just have to keep reminding myself that even though they are aggravating S.O.B.s, they are OUR aggravating S.O.B.s. We need them more than ever now to to counter-aggravate (indeed, usually to OUT-aggravate) the gungrabber's aggavating S.O.B.s.

Re: More desperate braying from the democrats............
I stopped my monthly subscription to 'American Rifleman' to try and save em a few bucks.... I've been a life member since the early 70's... so I have certainly gotten my monies worth... I send em $100 about twice a year and when they call... I try to be nice but they do tend to irritate ya.... but I still just take it...
... did you ever consider that the NRA money calls are being made by the "other side" and their just trying to 'piss you off' so you will stop sending them money....????? sooooooo.... is that what you would call 'reverse psychology??"...
NNaaaaaa............ toooo slick even for the other side (maybe?)...

Re: More desperate braying from the democrats............
Just got another desperate plea for last-minute money from the DSCC. This time they say the "Tea Party Republicans would rather bad mouth our President than help him strengthen the middle class". No one has yet explained to me how a punishing tax on the top few percent of earners will strengthen the middle class. The middle class gets the same tax cuts continued whether it is by the republicans' "extension of the Bush Tax Cuts" or Obama and the democrats' plan that punishes the top few percent for success. If the democrats and Obama get their way, what will it help? The figures I've seen are that even if you took 100% of the income of those top earners, it would only pay for a few days' federal deficit. So apart from pandering to vicious & mindless class hatred and the politics of envy and retribution (and probably adversely impacting investment and job creation severely), WHAT DOES IT ACCOMPLISH? If anything, the adverse effect on job creation will weaken the middle class.
Maybe the object of this strategy is to reduce what is left of the middle class to welfare-dependant wards of the democrats.

Re: More desperate braying from the democrats............
Latest urgent request for just $5 (I think they started out looking for $3, didn't they?) comes from (or at least over the name of) no less a personage than James Carville. Oh, how I hope they are telling the truth here! But I'm going to hold out for a personal visit from Bubba himself.
I'll still tell them NO, but at least I'll give them an answer. 'Course, I'm not holding my breath or anything..............

You see the latest polls? Mitt and the Republicans are out-raising us, attacking us, and – voila – they’ve almost got this thing tied up.
Stop looking around for the cavalry – you’re it. 99 percent of the DSCC’s contributions come from people like you – and we’ve got the biggest fundraising deadline of the whole dang campaign so far coming up at midnight tonight.
So get on it – and help us raise the last $150,000 we need to fight back with a contribution of $5. That FEC deadline is only a few hours away.
I don’t mean to be rude or anything, but I want President Obama and Senate Democrats to win, and if that means a little tough love, so be it.
We’ve been getting beat up for months. Quit letting them get away with it. Go to xxxx://dscc.org/Midnight and let’s get the momentum back on our side.
Thanks,
