This is my favorite printable target. Someday it's going to be a real turkey. :letseat:

My apologies guys. I should have provided some warning. Zombies are indeed pretty frightening.

Turkeys are one of my favorites to hunt. That is once you get past the springtime ticks, chiggers and snakes.

I've never tried turkey hunting. I've seen many while deer hunting though. A beautiful sight to see a flock marching through the woods. I may give it a whirl in the upcoming season.

I dont mind the snakes and ticks. Those are easy to deal with. I got a bad case of chiggers last year and had to make a couple of doctor visits. That was no fun at all. I've actually got scars from that fiasco.

During the fall season you can use a rifle on turkey. Works good- go deer hunting, shoot a deer and maybe a turkey.

Hey it looks like those seasons do overlap and I plan on doing a muzzle load hunt for deer first week of Nov.

Told you, if I type it, 99% chance it's correct. Black powder turkey has it's own season too I think. Regular deer season and fall turkey run concurrent near the end of deer season. You can use black powder to hunt the entire season, black powder and general firearms. You DO NOT need a black powder license to hunt black powder during general firearms for deer, it is only required for the 2 week special black powder season.*

*double check this, been several years since I have bought a license.

You can also used a rifle during the spring season but since the woods are getting thick a shotgun is better. Besides I like 'em inside 25 yards before I pull the trigger anyway.
