WTB Pump shot gun or glock 22,23,27

I'm looking for an affordable firearm for my mother since I am leaving for boot camp (Marines). She just wants some piece of mind because she lives alone. She is looking to spend no more than 250-300. Thanks.

Get her a youth sized 20 gauge pump shot gun, they are cheap, Don't have an overwhelming kick, they are easy to maneuver, and still have the classic warning sound when racked.
