SIG 516 PDW SBR

Post by programmatore »

My tax stamp finally came in yesterday -- a little over 6 months from the date it went to pending status. Here's the finished setup:

SIG 516 Gas Piston AR, 7.5" PDW Upper
Aimpoint CompM4
Magpul CTR Stock
Magpul RVG Vertical Grip
Magpul MOE Grip
Magput PMAG
Ladder Rail Covers

Image

I'm still unsure about the CompM4. I may return it and pick up an Aimpoint Micro H1.

Sick set up! One of my two came in yesterday also. I would def go with the smaller optic. Love it!

I took it to the range today to function test it. OMG! This thing is loud! It spits out a pretty big fireball too -- I think I burned off my eyebrows!

That's a real "video game of the future" AR SBR. Wow.

I'd ditch the birdcage flash hider and put a Noveske flaming pig on there if you're that concerned about muzzle flash. Nice build, and definitely go with the smaller optic.

Very nice. A six month wait is crazy.

I picked up a PWS CQB Comp today. I hope it helps minimize the flash and focus some of the noise forward. I will let you know after I take it to the range this weekend.
