Need a small pouch for smartphone, light, and knife.

Post by ShortMan »

I already have several from Custom Leathercraft like the 1104 and 1105, plenty of useful pockets but they are too bulky for my needs.

Need thinner nylon and pockets geared towards my needs. I'm only carrying one small AAA flashlight and a small pocket knife alongside the smartphone. Those CLC's are designed for AA maglites and fat utility knives.

Also looking at smartphone cases with extra pockets.

The SwissGear pouches would be perfect for my needs but all the reviews say they're such poor quality I dont even want to bother.

Also tried some Nite Ize pouches but its the same problem only worse. They're either way too huge for my simple needs or dont have the ideal size and number of pockets.

I think what I really want is a roomy phone case as opposed to a heavy tool pouch. But there doesnt seem to be anything with both the quality and features I need.
If I knew how to sew I'd make one for myself with nylon straps. Thats what my dad did for me when I needed a holster for my precision screwdrivers. In case anyone has exotic stuff in mind please remember I dont wanna pay hundreds of dollars for some custom solution.

Lots of stuff out there to suit your needs. I like Blackhawk accesories, a bit pricey but the quality is good. Lowes and Home Depot carry pouches of various types and sizes or try online search.
Good Luck, I got 3 bags and several pouches but still looking for a few things.

This works well as a concealed carry holster. Looks like a camera case. Works pretty good for an actual camera case, too, as a matter of fact. Real leather.

You can call it a "bag" if you want to (it even comes with a snap-on shoulder strap), but I use mine as a belt-carried POUCH. I threw the shoulder strap away since I quit beating my wife. :hysterical:

You can also pack a short-barreled 1911 in it and it oasses off well as a camera case.
