WHAT?!?! I didn't read that part. That's what I get for assuming!TheGodfather wrote:The .50 cal doesn't fire. So what's the point in buying it?
Molotovs are kind of steep at $200 a throw...RugerJoe wrote:You could always mount something on it that does fire, or toss molotov cocktails out of the truck bed.

LOL that's funny. So now you have no excuse - it's yours!DWinter wrote:Well, I just showed Mama and she liked it and approved. She said if I can Sh%& $19K, I can have it.
That hurts, I'd rather she just looked at me and shake her head like she did when I wanted to buy a P51 Mustang
That is not a Half-Track. It is an M35(probably A2) 2 1/2 ton 6X6 truck, AKA "a deuce and a half". That particular truck happens to have no power steering 3 1/2 turns lock to lock, with a penchant for breaking thumbs if you got one caught while it was returning to center, a 5 speed manual transmission with an odd shift pattern (up-over-down for 3rd to 4th gear). It may or may not be turbocharged, if it has a turbo, it won't have a muffler, but it will have an incredible 134 horsepower, no turbo means more like 110. If it is a real canvas roof, not the newer rubberized covers, will rain harder inside the cab than outside when you are driving up the interstate a top speed of 56 miles an hour. Air conditioning consists of being able to open a small screened door on each side and tilting the windshield out. Heat is what comes into the uninsulated cab from the engine compartment. It is all yours for the taking, I think I would rather pick up one of the M923 5 tons that are routinely going through EBay for less money but needing paint...thekinetic wrote:Holy tomato bisque is that freaking halftrack?! My grandad drove one of those in the war, his gunner got shot to hell. Oh if only I had the money it would be bought!
