Forgive me if this has been addressed - I'm "new in town". Have been trying to poll/research for a decent pair of electronic type ear muffs, or better yet in-ear. My hearing isn't what it used to...wouldn't dream of going to a range not having protection, but what about a hunting/field environment. Would appreciate some direction. Saw some made off-shore (somewhere in Europe) but more than my pocket could bear...multiple thousands - seriously. Anywho, any and all help would be appreciated.
Thnx,
Mike K.

Re: Hearing protection
These are my go-to electronic muffs.

Not cheap at almost $300, but they work very nice for me.
I've also got a pair that is non-electronic for when I don't want the electronic functions.
Also when II'm in high noise environments like indoor ranges I always goto plugs + muffs.

I have a few friends who have these and they work well.
I have Peltors that I have been wearing for 5 tours that are going strong but need new jellys (padding)

I reccomend both.

Granted, these are not electronic, but they work well for me.

Just pay attention to the instructions on how to wear them.
