Do you have two of your EDC pistol?
My EDC is an XDM Compact 9mm. I am debating picking up a full size 9mm, but another part of me thinks that another of my EDC is wise. What do you have?

My EDC is a Glock 30 .45 caliber. I also carry a Glock 19 9mm. I carry my 30 most of the time and I carry the 19 when I know I'm going to get nasty and probably scratch it up. Although I find that I get into situations like that with my 30 as well.
I had a SCAR 17 and 16. I also had a bunch of Glocks and a couple H&K pistols. Oh and a DDM4, but I sold everything when our government told me these dangerous tools can actually hurt someone. Apparently they grow legs and go on killing sprees.

I'm looking to get a compact Glock 23 for EDC. My wife is looking at the Glock 27 for EDC. For home we would end up getting the full size Glock 22 since we don't have to worry about having a compact size but having the full size magazines would be beneficial for all three guns.

I don't have duplicates of my EDC... then again, I don't have one single EDC. I try to maximize size based on weather and what I'll be doing....
Then again, it's more limited by $$$ than anything else. If I had limitless funds, I would have a back up for everything, but I would prefer to spend that money on a different gun.

I don't have an exact duplicate, but close. My EDC is a Kimber 4" M1911, and its backup is a Kimber 3" M1911. They use the same magazines, operate identically and both fit a couple of the same holsters. If that doesn't work out, I can always go to my full-size Kimber M1911, but I find it too heavy to carry routinely.
