In truth, I know your frustrations. I tried to organize a group of folks to join the GOP locally, see about putting in place people whom feel the same way I do, make some "waves" stop having the establishment make the choices.

Well right now I am homeschooling two out of my four kids (working on that next generation bit). I am sticking my extra nickels and dimes into any organization that I can see that has a chance of making a difference against the nightmare that exists today. I vote in EVERY election that comes up. I call and write my congressman and our senators (fat lot of good it does). I go to the rallies I can, but we are family people with jobs and flag football games to go to.

What would you suggest? I am open to hearing how we can individually do more, but I fail to see what elbows need to be thrown where?

The solution starts at home. If you aren't your offspring's primary educator, and imparting solid, time tested values that will enable them to be self supporting, self directed, self governed, self - fill in in the blank here, then you're just contributing to the problem, IMO.

We all hear you, and many of us are trying our best to gather support from anyone who will listen. I will be voting the lesser of the two evils in the upcoming, and plan to support the better of what ever my county offers too. It's too bad we can't seem to get a handful of people to think for themselves anymore, and help vote out the long ago should have been gone pricks that keep stealing, and just re-taxing us. Not to mention those who would take all of our god given rights. I have a co-worker so enamored with BHO, he can't see the crap storm from the wool that's he has allowed to be pulled over his own eyes. Yes he is a black man, but the black woman I work with, she has a clue, and at least I know she will be voting with us.

To Raulet: The problem is not voting. We all know how to vote. It does no good or has it and I'm completely in the dark? What new policies have been enacted that tells us voting is our salvation? Have we all forgotten our God given right to be free from tyrrany? We live in a country where you can be jailed without due process. You can be stopped and frisked just because. Didn't Germany have a similar way of handling people just before the holocaust? Papers....... perhaps for now its just insurance and registration they seek oh and the occasional drivers license. Just saying, damn people. We aren't being led to the slaughter house, we are running by ourselves and the "elite" are laughing their asses off. They don't even have to work for it now. I don't suggest any actions that violate your conscience, but where is your conscience?

How about holding a public trial of our leaders who have raped this country? How about buying air time on tv to voice the truth. How about putting ads in the movie theatres before the movie? I never said (or thought) you were calling me an @sshole. I knew all along you were talking about all those OTHER @ssholes who read this forum. Or maybe I should have said the ones who don't.

Between wars my country was a really nice place. We had a lot of oil, we have built the world's first large refinery, in 1850, and we had first city with electric public lightning in Europe in 1884. Bucharest was called "the little Paris".
When communist took power after WW2 there were many who saw the trouble. But very few who stood and fight. Couple hundred patriots. They retreat in the mountains and were hunted for years. And died proud that they did the right thing.
Most of the people just sit and accepted whatever was put on them. Land was confiscated, horses, cattle, almost everything. Many died of hunger. Almost all intellectual were thrown in jail and reeducation camps. Millions suffered for 50 years. Grandpa used to tell me war stories and that if more people had the balls to say NO and fight back then all this would be avoided, in Germany, in Russia and at home too.
So, don't expect any "action". Except couple isolated cases, it won't be. People refuses to see and believe that something bad can happen.
