Dominion Shooting Range - Richmond - Tues 4/10

The Mrs and I went back to Dominion yesterday to break in our new Mossberg 500. Like the few times we've been before, we enjoyed ourselves (except for when I stapled my finger trying to get the target on the cardboard). If you've been to Dominion before then you know it is what it is. It's not the prettiest belle at the ball and you may have to try a few lanes before you find one that will actually send your target downrange, but the range fee is low ($8 and it's good all day) and they don't mark up their ammo too much.

We like shooting on Tuesday evenings because it works best for our schedule (plus it's lady's night where there's no range fee for the Mrs). We usually spend the same amount as other nights because we end up getting an extra box of shells. It wasn't as busy as it was a few weeks ago when we went so that was nice. We shot our normal target shells and once we ran a few through the new gun tried some buckshot. All in all, range fee for me, two boxes of 25 shot target loads and a 5 pack of 00 buck, two sets of ear protection, and a set of eye protectioncame up to $45. We can't complain since it's only 5 minutes from where we work.

We've always found the staff there to be very friendly. We're new shooters and they've always taken the time to answer any questions we have and show us different things. Last night was no difference. We're definitely going back.
