http://www.richmondteaparty.com/celebrate-liberty/
The Richmond Tea Party will be having an event on Apirl 14th to celebrate liberty. Looks like it will be fun there will be cars, reenactments, speakers, ect.
I'll be there it would be cool to meet any other members that plan on going.

I'm in Fredericksburg so Richmond is a swift jaunt for me. The Range off Route 1 in Stafford is an excellent range but very very very ( did I say VERY?) booked. There is usually a waiting list to use that facility so another may be a better venue.
Be well each of you.
Carry well.

That is almost in my back yard...actually closer to my front yard, I live on Sara Kay...yay! I'll be there!!!!
We continue to be exasperated by the view, apparently gaining momentum in certain circles, that armed robbery is okay as long as nobody gets hurt! The proper solution to armed robbery is a dead robber, on the scene.

Will you be manning a booth? I've been told that open carry will be OK, but CC preferred...I don't have my Virginia permit yet, also another question, where do I go to apply for my permit here in N. Chesterfield?

Go to the Circuit Clerk's office with your DD-214 and $50 - fill out the form and hand it to the clerk. Not sure if they require fingerprints in that county, but if they do, and you don't want to mess with all that - wait until after July 1st, as the fingerprint requirement was repealed and goes into effect on that day.MrSmitty wrote:Will you be manning a booth? If you're still active duty, then get the page out of your service record with a rifle/pistol qual.

At the moment I don't expect to be manning a booth unless someone is way undermanned and I have nothing to do. But I'm an alternate for the Battle of Brains completion so I'm kinda required to do nothing until that gets rolling and I'll probably watch it.MrSmitty wrote:Will you be manning a booth? I will be manning a booth. It will be one of Three Oath Keepers Booths. Come say high. I don't make it down to these parts often.

Rex says:
Oath Keeper Stuff available.
Forget store pricing: I have tees: 69 each ..going at ( not the store price!) $20 each short sleeve, each, to members and public.
I do have an assortment of styles, colors, but only a few mediums..most are large and Xl, with a few 2X's. I also have the last of the Ranger Specials. Large and XL.. .If you have Rangers at home..in state anywhere..check and take orders.. these are the last 41 of that run..they are the black short sleeve style but with the bold Ranger tab over the OK tab front with Ranger orange lettering, Oath on back..Ranger and OK tabs on sleeve. It may be a very long time before they are run again in lots of 100 plus. The other 28 are fresh from the store , mixed styles with some yellow, black, and OD.
Hats: ..I have ten..but they are all the yellow with black print. $15
I have lapel pins..plenty..at $5
So you see, even Oath Keepers have a hard time getting stuff. This is a great time to snag a shirt if you have been thinking about it.

These were some of the folks that were hanging out when the Tea Party Photographer came by and offered to take our picture. I am kneeling on the right really small.
