Super Tuesday Voting

Post by totes6 »

Just curious who all voted today in the Presidential Primary.

Went by my polling place this morning to vote and there had only been a total of 12 votes (including mine), but of course this was at about 8:45 am so hopefully more people will be swinging by on their way home.

I most probably won't vote. I'm not a republican - I'm a conservative independent who is usually but not always obliged to vote for republicans. And there is only Romney and Paul to choose from. Paul is a waste of a vote (unless you want to protest under circumstances where it won't benefit Obama). So why bother? the results are a forgone conclusion, aren't they? I've never missed an election, but seldom voted in a primary.

I voted this morning and at 0630 I was only the third to vote. There were no people with signs or anything like the last election. It is as if this primary will be the Forgotten Virginia primary and the candidates don't really care about us since they think that Romney will be a clean sweep. I would love to see an upset and Ron Paul take Virginia.

The lady that checked my ID at the table this morning commented that it would be a good place to read a book.

I predict that Mittens will win by a healthy margin over whatshisname.

Voted this AM. I voted Ron Paul cause I only want to have to throw up once after I have to vote for Romney in the GE. I don't expect him to get the nod, but it was my one moment of protest against the insanity of Obama-lite.

Went today around 4PM and voted for Paul. Nobody was there but still an important thing to do.

How do you know how many people voted before you? My wife and I voted for Ron Paul, but we were the only people there.

I just asked one of the polling officers there. They were more than willing to chat since I was the only one there. But if you use a paper ballot there is a LCD counter next the slot that you slide the ballot into. It counts how many ballots have been inserted. Not sure about the electronic ballot option, but the polling officer I asked just told me how many people he had seen there.

FOX News is reporting that Romney is the winner in Virginia.

Try to contain your shock and amazement

I went about five this afternoon, I was the only voter there until I was walking out, one old dude was coming in. The poll worker said I was number 236, if I remember correctly - about ten percent of the precinct voted.
