I also have several boxes like that. I think most of us do. IMO its probably an advertising gimmick.

Re: ammo question
Some states (NJ comes to mind) restrict the use of JHP to LE only. Could be why the boxes are marked that way, easier to mark all that way instead of special ones for those states.

Re: ammo question
Most ranges allow this unless you rent one of their guns (then you must use their ammo). If you shoot anything special like .50AE check their rules before you go. The only exceptions I can think of are Clark's brothers in Warrenton (you must buy their ammo regardless of who's gun you shoot) and Quantico, which restricts use of Russian ammo.804blessedsoul wrote:is there any gun range where u can bring your own ammo

Re: ammo question
The Range in Stafford allows you to bring your own ammo, though their ammo is pretty inexpensive, if somewhat dirty.

Re: ammo question
Most dont unless you rent one of their guns. Call another range. Assuming you live in Richmond (home of dominion range and gun store) I'm sure there are plenty to choose from.804blessedsoul wrote:I called dominion and they said I had to use their ammo..

It's only 2 miles off 360 but 75 miles west of Brandermill. Not a bad drive, tad over an hour.

Re: ammo question
Some ranges require that you shoot only their rifle ammo, and some facilities have restrictions on certain handgun ammo, but it's generally due to the construction of the range.804blessedsoul wrote:is there any gun range where u can bring your own ammo
