With the WalMart construction, parking is even more of a nightmare than it used to be (and once the place opens, it'll get worse).

Will most vendors have CC machines or should I hit up the ATM before?

Credit cards will be accepted by most vendors, but it never hurts to have some cash on hand.

A lot of vendors will charge a fee for credit cards, usually around 3% or so. Also, cash is king when it comes to negotiating a deal on a firearm.

+1

That's what I was getting at, but I didn't really come out and say it.

Who were all those people? The show seemed 2x or 3x more crowded than any there I've attended before....

It was crazy there! New years eve in Fredericksburg was just as bad though.

I went on Sunday. It was complete insanity. I'm really surprised there wasn't some sort of fire code violation, with the number of people crammed in there.

I managed to squeeze up to one table, found something interesting, called the CEO (aka Hubby) to clear the purchase, and did the paperwork. Background check took about an hour - really fast for me (last one done at a gun shop took a day).
