Never Fails it seems,,The gun show loophole ,,,again?

Post by VBshooter »

Well, As the new session of the General Assembly begins,we already we have one of the anti gun heroes submitting garbage Bills to waste peoples time... This sort of crap would almost be sad if it weren;t for the fact this pinhead actually believes her own drivel.....Jennie is a devout gun hater of the first order and the state would do well if she just went away,,,

House Bill 364: Sponsored by Delegate Jennifer McClellan (D-71), HB 364 would prohibit the private sales of firearms at gun shows by requiring that all sales conducted at a gun show go through a federally licensed dealer. Make no mistake, if passed, supporters of this legislation will soon be calling for a ban on all private sales in Virginia, unless they go through a background check.

They ought to apply that as well to cars, cigarettes, alcohol, food, and everything else that has the power to kill.
If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking... is freedom.

I predict a speedy fail for this bill.

attempt to criminalize private sales as i read it.

SB 379 Firearms transfers; penalties.
A. Donald McEachin

Firearms transfers; penalties. Creates a Class 2 misdemeanor for a person who is not a licensed dealer to sell, rent, trade, or transfer a firearm to any other person who is not a licensed dealer. The bill also creates a Class 2 misdemeanor for a person who is not a licensed dealer to buy, rent, trade, or transfer a firearm from any other person who is not a licensed dealer.

That is a real reach ...Gotta truly hate any politican that willfully even suggests taking away or restricting peoples freedoms ....This is one that should never see the light of day and the dumbass who sponsored it should be put on noitice that if he/she submits any more crap like this , they're position in the assembly is history and they will be remanded to cleaning the crappers for the duration of their term. A short visit to his website will explain what type of A Hole this clown is and what he is all about... http://www.donaldmceachin.com/

as i understand it, he is heavily entrenched in his district and it's not likely he'd lose his seat.

It's Jennifer McClellan and Don McEachin - did you expect anything different? Or maybe you're just fortunate enough to not be familiar with who these two geniuses are.

McEachin also was outspoken against the attempt to privatize liquor sales in VA. He wrote an op/ed piece in which he made the utterly ridiculous and disingenuous claim that there would be a liquor store on every corner, and within easy walking distance to parks, playgrounds, ball fields and elementary schools.

I sent him an e-mail alerting him to the fact that there is and has been for years a Virginia ABC store on Pump Road in Short Pump that is directly across the street from - wait for it - not only an elementary school, but also a playground and ball park.

I got no response.

They're both left-wing progressives. Of course they are anti-gun rights.

By their logic, there should be a background check before anyone can buy a car, a baseball bat, a knife - or booze.
